These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the JL Cigars website. By using this website, you agree to these terms and applicable law. If you do not agree, you should not use the website.

1. Age Restriction

JL Cigars is intended exclusively for adults who are 21 years of age or older. The website uses a session-based age confirmation. By continuing, you represent that you are at least 21 years old. This confirmation does not replace any additional age verification that may be required by law for future tobacco-product transactions.

2. Tobacco Products

Tobacco products are for adults only. Tobacco use carries health risks, and nicotine can be addictive. Nothing on this website constitutes medical or health advice.

3. Current Non-Transactional Product Catalog

The public cigar catalog is currently presented for informational and preview purposes. JL Cigars does not currently accept public tobacco-product purchases, cart modifications, product checkout, cigar orders, product shipping, or product payments through this website. Prices or product details shown in the catalog do not constitute an online offer for sale while the store remains marked Coming Soon.

4. Memberships

Memberships are separate from the product store. Current public memberships use recurring billing through Stripe and require express acceptance of the Membership Terms before payment. The Membership Terms govern subscription-specific billing, cancellation, and related conditions.

5. Events and Communications

The website may permit event registrations and contact requests. You must provide accurate information and use these forms only for legitimate purposes related to JL Cigars.

6. Intellectual Property

Website content, design, visual identity, logos, photographs, text, and other materials belong to JL Cigars, their respective owners, or are used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit this content without appropriate authorization except where permitted by law.

7. Third-Party Services

Some functions depend on external providers. Stripe processes membership payments. Google Fonts is used to load certain typefaces. Use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

8. Availability and Accuracy

We work to keep website information available and reasonably current, but we do not guarantee that all content will be error-free, that every function will remain continuously available, or that information will never change.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JL Cigars will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of or inability to use the website. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Prohibited Use

You may not use the website for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with system operation, transmit malicious content, or use website information in a manner that violates the rights of others.

11. Governing Law

These terms will be interpreted under applicable Puerto Rico law and applicable federal law of the United States, without limiting any mandatory rights available under applicable law.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the website, services, or applicable requirements change. The updated date will be displayed on this page. Changes do not retroactively alter Membership Terms accepted for a specific enrollment.
